Dallas Karma Thegsum Chöling

Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center

Dallas Karma Thegsum Choling is a Kagyu lineage center, a Tibetan Buddhist center located in Irving, Texas. The Kagyu lineage is one of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, tracing its origins to the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha and passed down through an unbroken line of enlightened masters. Key figures in its transmission include the Indian mahasiddhas Tilopa and Naropa, and the Tibetan masters Marpa (who brought the teachings to Tibet), Milarepa, and Gampopa. The lineage is known for its emphasis on meditation, particularly the Mahamudra tradition.
